- ¾ Cup Apple Sauce
- 2 Cups Granulated and Powdered Sugar
- ½ Cup Avacado Oil
- 1 Tbsp. Crushed Peppermint Candies (Optional)
- Combine salt, all-purpose flour, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Take another bowl and add cocoa powder, oil, extracts, peppermint candies, sugar, and applesauce. Blend both mixtures. Now start adding the wet mixture to the dry one slowly. Keep mixing side by side. Make sure there are no lumps.

- Preheat your oven to about 350-360F and grease your baking pan lightly.
- Take a bowl and combine all the dry ingredients.
- Take another medium-sized bowl. Add in all the wet ingredients. Use a whisker or batter to blend the vegan butter and sugar to form a creamy consistency.
- Mix all the dry and wet ingredients. There should be no lumps. Different vegan butter has varied moisture contents. So, if you feel the dough to be a bit dry, add tablespoons of water into the mixture until you get/achieve the right consistency of the dough. The right consistency is when the dough holds together.
- When the dough is ready, add in the chocolate chips.
